Abudu, Edo State · Built from the ground

We are building the material company behind what gets builtnext.

Smartsmining is a sand extraction, preparation, and supply business operating from 5 Oza Road, Abudu. We begin with the materials construction depends on and build the discipline required for a broader mineral future.

Why Smartsmining exists

Infrastructure begins long before the first block is laid.

It begins with the ground: knowing what material the work needs, where it will come from, how it will be prepared, and how it will reach the people building with it. Smartsmining is being built to take responsibility for that entire path.

Our operating idea

Do not separate the material from the movement.

A pile of sand is not yet a supply system. The value appears when the requirement, preparation, loading, dispatch, and destination work as one chain.

01Brief

Understand the requirement

The material, intended use, required volume, delivery point, and timing belong in the same conversation from the start.

02Prepare

Prepare the material

Extraction is only the beginning. Stockpiling, sorting, handling, and load planning shape what arrives at the site.

03Move

Coordinate the movement

Equipment, loading windows, vehicle movement, destination access, and dispatch need one controlled path.

04Improve

Learn from every delivery

Each order gives us better operating context—what the site needed, what moved well, and what should improve next.

Where the work begins

One address. A real operating context.

Our first base is in Abudu, the administrative headquarters of Orhionmwon Local Government Area. It keeps the company close to the work: the ground, the water, the equipment, the stockpiles, and the realities of supplying active construction sites.

Open the location

The discipline the work requires

Moving earth should never mean losing sight of the ground.

Sand extraction changes land and water. That makes restraint, planning, and site awareness part of the work—not an afterthought. These are the standards we are building the operation around.

A

Read the ground before moving it.

Water, access, extraction zones, haul routes, and neighbouring land are operating conditions—not background details.

B

Make movement deliberate.

Separate work zones, clear equipment paths, and planned stockpiles reduce confusion around active machinery.

C

Treat impact as part of the plan.

The standard we are building toward considers water, erosion, dust, noise, site condition, and the people around the operation.

D

Grow only with better control.

A broader mineral portfolio should come with stronger data, clearer processes, and more accountable operating decisions.

The first layer

Four materials. Built around the work they need to do.

Our starting portfolio is practical by design: materials used to form sites, make concrete, support drainage, and finish surfaces.

The long view

Start narrow. Build the system. Earn the right to expand.

Sand is our first operating layer—not the limit of the company. Smartsmining is being designed as a mineral platform that can add new materials as the right geological knowledge, licences, operating capacity, and commercial demand come together.

The ambition is broad. The approach is patient: establish a dependable operation, understand the ground, strengthen the supply chain, and expand with evidence.
